Question Amd cpu

So my computer shuts off at the windows logo , I just got a new psu Astro 500 watt. It only came with a 4 pin connector and my motherboard has 8. Well I started fucking around in bios and tried to overclock. I reset the Mobo , could it be a possibility that the cpu is t getting enough voltage ?
