Hello I'm building my first PC and need clarification on the Motherboard. Any help would be appreciated
I researched and bought a motherboard for my new CPU, a Ryzen 2nd gen 5 2600. The board I bought for it is a Gigabyte B450M S2H
I bought this mobo because it's supposed to be Desktop 2000 Ready, to suit the 2nd gen CPU, but when I got it home I noticed it now says Desktop 3000 Ready??
Can anyone tell me if my 2nd gen 5 2600 will work in this motherboard now? It seems to be updated to 3rd gen (if the number 3000 is anything to go by)
And if it does, will I need to revert the bios back to 2000 Ready? I sure hope not i'm not that clued up!
