I recently bought a new graphics card and ever since i installed id at random times the screen would go black and i would get the display driver has stopped working error even when i'm in chrome watching videos.
even though benchmarks run fine on my pc and temps aren't getting too high
i have updated all of my drivers to the latest version.


these are my specs:
CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) X4 860K
GPU: AMD Radeon R9 290
PSU: Corsair CX750
Motherboard: MSI A78M-E45
OS: windows 10

Did you use driver that came with the card or use latest AMD driver? Also try disabling hardware acceleration for chrome.

i triedclearing all of the drivers and reinstalling them but ift didn't work neither did hardware acceleration

Still does not mention which driver you're using. It could be driver spesific issue. Have you tried using different drivers? Might as well using DDU to do clean driver install.
