Okay, today I updated the drivers for my AMD 8500m+8610g video card. The first thing I noticed was the amazing performance increase. Unfortunately, nothing works out 100% in these situations. Now, my brightness buttons (F2 & F3) don't work on my laptop. The animation stills shows up implying that the brightness is being changed but it doesn't actually work. The driver I had installed before was a stock Toshiba driver (as opposed to stock AMD). I'm guessing because Toshiba doesn't recognize the driver signature it refuses to change the computer brightness. Does anyboody have any suggestions as to how I can control the brightness other than going back to an inferior driver?
