Crashing on games and bench marking within seconds, Occasionally it will black screen and lose display and i have to restart the system, other times I get the message "AMD driver stopped responding and recovered" but usually starts with the screen freezing then a horizontal tare across the screen.

If i run games and benchmarks without my graphics card installed I get no issue on my on board graphics.

RMA'd my graphics card as i thought that was the obvious issue but after that showed no sign of improvement I RMA'd the ram as it was showing errors on memtest
Sadly this has not resolved my issue, although it takes a few more seconds to crash now.

I have tried multiple different drivers for my graphics card using DDU in between each attempt, tried this again after a clean install still no luck.
Checked cables which seemed fine but swapped them out with spares I had just in case.

Heat doesn't seem to be an issue in this as it crashes before the card has a chance to heat up and my cpu is running quite cool with a hyper evo 12 and i think my air flow is adequate

Going to do another memtest on my new ram just in case they've sent me dodgy modules but I'd like to think they would be more considerate!

Build:
Win10 pro
i7 4970k
MSI 390x
MSI z97 mobo
EVGA GQ 750w
2x8 Corsair vengeance 1866mhz
250GB Samsung SSD
1TB WD
other various 2.5 drives

Nothing is overclocked other than factory overclocking.

Please let me know if there's any information I can provide which could help resolve this issue!

Unsure on where this would be best placed in the forum categories :/

Are your drivers updated? Could it be an overheating issue? Try taking the cover off your computer and blow a fan on the video card and see what happens. I had this happen to me. The card ran fine for everyday use but as soon as I started to play a game like Metro, it would freeze up. It was due to heat.

Like I said I've tried every driver I could find and all my fans are running fine, it crashes before it can even heat up as the 390x can run steady at 95 degrees yet I'm crashing before it even hits 65 (sits on idle at about 50-60 degrees due to fans turning themselves off at low loads)
