I have this problem on rdr2,fifa23 and Ac Odyssey. These are the only 3 games I play after buying my rx7600 and I get the driver timeout every time.It happens in 5 minutes of gameplay in rdr2,in fifa i can get 2-3 games before it crashes and in Ac Odyssey it crashes after almost 1 hour 40 minutes.I have reinstalled drivers and even windows 10 and 11 multiple times but this problem still happens.Cant even return my card as I bought it 2 weeks ago but can i get warranty for this or is this a software issue that will get fixed?

Are the 3 affected games up to date? From where did you download them?

How hot is your GPU getting when gaming? Any other errors?

Other games work fine? Correct?
Rdr2 on epic games and Fifa23 and Ac on steam. All are uptodate.Gpu temp is 45 when idle and at most 75 when playing rdr2.The other 2 games doesn't even reach 70.These are the 3 games i download after buy my new gpu did not play other games.

Is your motherboard BIOS the most recent version available for it?

Assuming this is your motherboard:

Yes.

These are game specific code issues, nothing to do with your hardware. It happens randomly to most of the gamers, and there is no fool proof fix for this driver timeout error.

For RDR 2 you can try doing this. This command line parameter sometimes helps in GFX errors associated with RDR2, but I'm not sure about AMD driver timeout errors.

Add "-ignorepipelinecache" to the launch options in STEAM client after doing a fresh install of RDR2 (without quotes). Also, set the CPU core affinity to HIGH via Task manager.

Also try switching between the API modes. DirectX and VULKAN. Try using both these options.

- Try to turn off auto update graphic card driver from windows via policy, because sometimes windows will override your gpu driver that you install manually causing some conflict.
- update the windows component to the latest

Thats work to reduce drastically my screen blinking problem on my sapphire rx 6600. But never got a crash, blue screen, driver timeout or anything like that...

So this is just a coincidence that the first 3 games i download and play after buying my new gpu all have the same problem?
