AMD Dual Graphics Question

So I have an AMD APU. I am planning on buying a GTX 950 for my PC. I can see through the vents on my PC that I have a Dual Graphics slot, and a black one below it. Would the Dual Graphics slot work for only the GTX 950, and not for the AMD GPU in the APU? I only want to use the GTX 950 when I get it. I am also not sure if I am able to use the Dual Graphics feature with 2 different kinds. Thank you.

You can't use the APU's iGPU with the GTX 950. Your best bet is to disable the iGPU and just use the GTX 950.

Dual Graphics only works with a few select AMD cards and an AMD A-Series APU. The Dual Graphics feature most certainly does not work with Nvidia video cards.
