AMD Fury series internal benchmark . a peek into limitations of HBM?

check the settings on AC unity[medium-low textures:high], also look at the games all the 14-15 AAA vram eater games (GTA5, DYing light etc) are missing from the bench.

For me it seems to be confirming the theory of limitations on HBM v1, since it's fast but the swapping may still kill it when hardcrossing the 4gb in form of frametime spikes and decreased performance.

Why else would AMD use settings like that?

no ac unity is well optimised. runs on 60fps , ultra 1080p on my single 980. the 980ti or the titan -x can easily do 30-40 fps on ultra 4k in ac unity, there are tons of real time monitored youtube benchmarks..
