Well hello there.Im having a question about a possible budget gaming pc build which im planning to build in the near future.I was researching the Kaveri chips and even with the Mante API,they dont seem to bring some performance for games like Battlefield 4,unless you got a decent dedicated GPU.I was thinking about building one of these two PCs:
1.A10-7850K without a dedicated GPU and 8GBs of RAM
or,
2.AMD FX-4300 with a R7-250X and 8GBs of RAM
Let me hear your thoughts and let me know what kind of performance could i expect from both PCs.
Thanks fowardly 😀

Is it possible to stretch your budget a little bit? For 500$ you could acheive an Athlon X4 860K+ a GTX 950, which would give you way better performance in games at 1080p. If you go even further you could get things like a nice SSD and a CPU cooler for over clicking. As for the actual question, I would go with the A10-7870K but only if you pair it with 2133/2400mhz RAM. Its essentially an Athlon 860K + an R7 250X, which is better than the FX 4300 because of newer cores and higher clock speeds. Hope j helped!
Well both are fairly low powered gaming systems.. Think 720p for most games. It is basically the flip of a coin to me. Neither is really a gaming system. You are better off getting an Intel based system for gaming. Out of the two the FX4300 system might have an edge just because the cpu and gpu are not sharing memory and the 250x is slightly faster than the IGP on the 7850K.

Edited for spelling..

Thanks for the fast responses guys.Well i do agree with all of you,it is a low end gaming pc,and sadly i cant go over that given budget i got.Id gladly go to Intel if i had the money for it.A few guys told me to go for the new Pentium series but im sceptical about it because of it being dual core.Could i possibly build a gaming pc being able to run Battlefield 4 on medium to high specs under 400$?Again,thanks fowardly!

Even though it is a dual core, the Pentium G3258 is a beast of a processor.

While the G3258 is a great overclocker and processor for tasks like word and chrome, it is restricted in gaming due to it not being hyperthreaded. Dual core chips like Intel's i3 series have hyperthreading, meaning they have 4 threads and two cores. The Pentium series has two cores, two threads meaning games like Far Cry 4, GTA V and AC Syndicate will NOT run on a G3258. Also, in this price range, AMD dominates with the Athlon 860K being overclockable on cheap motherboards, having four cores, four threads, and having enough processing power to do light 1080P video editing.

Helped me alot, probably will try to get more money for that 950,or build up the A10 if the plan goes south.Anyway i thank everyone for helping me out 😀

+1 My friend bought the g3258 and only used it for 2 weeks before getting a better cpu.
