AMD FX-60 or AMD Athlon X2 4800+??

I have not read the rest of this topic but if i am not mistaken the fx-60 IS the 4800+, they just oc'ed it a bit so get the 4800, it is not really worth getting the TOP product because they inflate the price quite a bit, however since the fx 60 came out the fx 57 has still not gone down in price, $1000 is way too much for a cpu imo.

Are you trying to say that a 7800 GT beats two 6800 GTs? If so you're incorrect.

if i remember correctly 1 7800gt is faster than 2 6800gt's maybe not in every single app (doom3) but in games like hl2 where sli slows the games for some odd reason, yes its faster... it also overpowers dual 6800gts in most other games... or i could be wrong and maybe that was the gtx 😛

agree... at least till next gen cards come out and the gtx price drops

Unfortunaltely x1900xtx does not count as next gen.

I wonder if they will bring out a dx 10 version.
