Hi i also have an amd fx 6300 and i am using an asus motherboard M5A99X EVO R2.0 and have 8 gb ddr3 ram and an amd radeon hd 6750 and when ever i try to play games such as saints row 4 or even the walking dead my computer freezes after a very short time of playing them and also when I try and design something using autodesk the computer freezes after 5-10 minutes and at first I thought the graphics card had a problem so I put it in a different computer and it worked fine so what could be my problem.

I disabled the overclocking abilities cause at first I thought it was because I was overclocking it that's why it kept freezing, and If I enable the overclocking the computer freezes after I open a game or use apps that require large amounts of processing power an the temperatures are normal I think cause it has only twice gone above 60 degrees Celsius that's only when I run saints row or autocad that's only when the temperatures go high as they require a lot of processing power and with power supply I am using a pulse power supply model pps-750br with ac 230v, any solution?

I am on the latest bios and I have reset to defaults but still the same problem but it helps it I disable overclocking abilities, it doesn't crash as fast any other help?

Your +12 volts are rly rly low.they are on 11.7 when not under load and minimum you want is 11.4 so probably when you load your cpu and gpu it drops below 11,4 making your pc crash.Download HWmonitor and prime95.Run hwmonitor 1st and see your voltages, let is stay open. Then open prime 95 and use test for max power consumtion In-place large FFTs test and run it.Go back to Hwminitor and see how your +12v is doing if it goes below 11.4 then you need new PSU.You stop prime95 from System Tray panel.

Hi... thanks for the help but my +12v never went below 11.530 v and I let the test run for 5 minutes and while i was writing this response and the temperature of the cpu went to 68 Celsius which is 154 Fahrenheit which is the most it has ever gone to and still rising while the test is open, what else do you think it is?

Shut down prime so it doesnt burn out your cpu.that 11.530V was just CPU load now when you add GPU load to that it sure drop belove 11.4 and what is casue freeze and shut down.like LucoTF stated above you PSU is main problem here.now try to have HWmonitor open and go play game, get back before it freeze and see again voltages on +12v try to make game scenario most demanding.

Yup thanks the psu is bad cause the v went to 11.49v but the weird thing was when i kept on monitoring the v it crashed when it was at around 11.7v

Okay...thanks for all your help :)

First thing I would do is load optimized defaults in the bios in case some setting is out there on the fringes causing your instability. The 6300 is a fine processor and your board is adequate.
