AMD FX 6300 + Corsair H100?

Hey guys. I'm going to be purchasing the FX 6300

Its $129.99 at the moment.

I plan to over clock this bad boy, so what do you think of the corsair h100 for keeping it cool?

I plan on installing it in the Corsair 650D Mid tower case. So tell me what you think
If you have a better cooling solution please tell me. Also provide links from ncix.ca if possible. I could consider going Non water cooling depending on the price and the quality cooler.

I really don't think you should use an expensive cooler on a cpu like the h100. You might as well forget the h100 and the 6300 and get a 3570k with the money saved.

If you do want to purchase the fx-6300 then I wouldn't go higher on the cpu cooler than a hyper 212 or a H60.

For once, I am actually happy you brought up Intel. What makes intel cpu's faster? I never really understood this :/

Is it the cache? because the fx 6300 has more cache. Is it the GHZ? Because thefx 6300 has 3.5GHZ while the i5 3570k has 3.4. I know a little bit about intel's hyperthreading, however I heard that he i5 cpu's do not use hyperthreading. So what makes the i5 3570k cpu faster? I plan on over clocking the fx 6300.

My coolermaster hyper 212 keeps my fx 8320 cool at 4.5ghz, I dont think you should spend that much on something you dont need.

Don't compare the architecture of the amd and intel just on the ghz or cache/cores...

The intel is much more better in everything (multi-threading/games/video editing, ect.)
And just about every i5 sandy/ivybridge.
Just get an i5-3570k or i5-3470+ hyper 212 evo
