AMD FX-6300 or 8320 (Gaming PC)

Hi forum,

I want to replace my AMD 960T for either the 6300 or 8320.

Now I will only be gaming (Battlefields, Armas, Civs, SimCity 4 , europa universals, Chilvary - sums it all up i guess) on a single 1080p monitor. I will at times ALT+TAB out to do something (check messages, skype, quick youtube etc.), some video recording, editing etc.

I've seen various views and the common one is for gaming, no point spending the extra sense the latter would be better for video graphics, video editing etc.

I have seen the 8320 for £107 and the 6300 for £85.

My current specs:

Be Quiet! 530W Modular PSU
Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0
AMD 960T BE with a Zalman CNPS5X heatsink/fan (stock clocks - this will be used to build the family PC and the current for myself etc. )
2x4 GB Corsair Vengence @ 1600MHz
XFX R7770 (1Ghz+ edition)
128GB Samsung 840
1TB WD Blue
1 Combo DVD

I will use the 960T to upgrade the family PC, it has a old AMD 3 core thingy.

The FX8320 is superior in every way to the FX6300 and will multi-task better.

Just a question, have you been using the R7770 for playing battlefield before? Whats the fps your getting for that? Also personally id go with the 8320, might want to consider going to the 8350 though.

Sorry I was lying:

I get anywhere from 35 to 85+ frames @ 1080p (it never goes below 30fps which is perfect because i do not have time for looking at all the nice explosions, building etc. but kill kill and kill or die)

Texture is ultra
Everything else either low or med.
AA (anything similar is off)
Vsync off.

I can confirm with you sometime this week if you wish.

I get a 35-60 FPS on textures set to ultra and others set to mid and low, VSYNC + AA or anything similar is off(trees and terrain is such and option or not [can't remember at this moment] would be off if it could be ).

I can double verify sometime this week for you sir.

Also, i try to record some game play with bandicam (thinking of getting capture card), frames drop to 20s and even 15s.

Oh right on, I thought that it would be lower. I have a Radeon HD7950, hoping to buy another one soon
