I don't know why but when i put my freq to 4.3 or 4.4GHz @ 1.35-1.4v it drops to 1.4GHz @0.9v for 2-3 seconds under full load during prime95 and jumps back up to 4.4 GHz @1.3v. Ive stress tested for an 2 hours and no errors or warnings but still getting this problem. Any answers? I'm using a hyper 212 EVO and a ASUS M5a97 LE 2.0 mobo.

First of all, Download AMD overdrive software.... It is the overclocking software by AMD but don't overclock by any software. Download the AMD OD, it will give information about the frequency used by all cores. ... Watch your temps in AMD OD, it will give thermal margin of remaining temps to overheat.... When all done, try to give maximum load to your cpu by any game like battlefield 4, COD ghost or rendering some videos and anything which may give load on CPU and check your frequency and temps in AMD OD. If the frequency didn't jump to 1.4 GHz, then uninstall the previous prime95 and download a newer one.
Sometimes cpu need lesser power even in the test by prime95. .. can you tell me which PSU and GPU you are using?

Power Supply: EVGA 750w 80+ bronze.
GPU: GIGABYTE GTX 760 OC GDDR5 2GB.

I will do what you told me to rn. Give me a bit while i do this.

Battlefield 4 ran fine. No drops or high temps. Probably 48c max. But when I ran prime 95 it dropped just like how i described it before. For some reason the voltage says 1.25v on AMD OD but in bios i set it to 1.35v.

You set voltage 1.35v in bios, it means that the maximum voltage is 1.35v. The processor can get 1.35v or lesser than it depending on its need... When the frequency jumps to 1.4 GHz, watch the cores load in AMD OD and it drops to something from 100? Which test do you performing in prime95? What previous steps do you follow to reach 4.3 GHZ and 1.35v? Does it happen in testing with 3.8-3.9 GHZ?

The cores load always stay at 100% during prime 95. I perform the "small FFTs," test.
I've given up on messing with it and set everything back to factory to start all over again with over clocking. If you want to help me or something that would be greatly appreciated. Just PM how I'd be able to contact you. Thank you for your time.
