Hello, I am very new to overclocking and I am having trouble finding the option to disable AMD Turbo Core on the BIOS for my Gigabyte 990fxa-udr rev 4 motherboard. Could it be that I need to update the BIOS in order to see that option?

Specs:
Motherboard - Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 rev4
Processor - AMD FX-6300
GPU - MSI Radeon HD 7950 @ 1070mhz
Memory - 8GB GSkill Ripjaw DDR3 @ 1600mhz

P.S. Im using a Cooler master hyper212 evo heat sink. Would this be enough to get me to 4.3ghz without overheating? Thanks

Yes if you don't use too high of a voltage. I have the FX-6300 and a Hyper 212 Evo too and it runs at 4.6ghz at a max of 62c. Test your system for heat and stability with intel burn test. I am running on a Asus M5A97 R2 which has lower overclocking ability since it is a 970 chipset. You should be able to overclock higher because of the 990fx chipset and better power delivery.
