I'm really confused here. I just want to know which will perform better in Gaming.

1. AMD FX-6300 Paired with R7 250X
2. AMD A8-7600 Paired with R7 250X (in Dual Graphics with built-in GPU)

Looking for opinions.

A A8-7600 is Kaveri FM2+ which has 2 extra pins so it will not fit. I did suggest a better option and how to profit from it. Buy that Athlon II X4 750K and Overclock, it will be faster than the FX 6300 with the very weak overclock potential.

BTW you CAN overclock a A8 7600 if you have fast RAM by changing the BUS speed, I am running my sons at 3.6 ghz but that was as far as I could take it.
Dual graphics works sometimes, and sometimes it doesn't at all. I would not bother.

I would not bother with a FX6300 either though.

So to answer your question, sometimes the dual graphics setup would be better, and sometimes it would not.

No the thing is that, I already have a Rig with a AM3+ Board and a FM2 Board. So my only option is either getting a FX series or APU series. My budget is around $120 for the processor. I'm going to play World of Warcraft Warlords to be precise.

Being that you already have boards to choose from and the 250x, you may want to consider this if $20 more could be in the budget:

The FX6300 would be a better option though if you had upgrading your GPU in mind in the future.

I have entry level boards. I'm saving for a big upgrade next year, So I have to work with what I have. The 2 motherboards are:

1. ASUS F2A55-M LK2 PLUS (FM2)
2. ASUS M5A78 M LX2 (AM3+)

Well the FM2 motherboard is really too limiting .
The AM3+ one is not ideal either for a performance pc , but that would be the better choice IMO . What processor is running in it now?

Okay let me explain the situation properly.

I have 2 Computers. One is my main and other is a backup machine used for nothing actually except surfing.

1. My main currently has A8-6600K + Asus F2A55-M LK2 Board.
2. The second one has a AMD X2 - 270 Dual core + Asus M5A78 M LX2

Now I purchased a Graphics Card (R7 250X) Last month. It's doing really well in Games like Heroes of the Storm, Dota 2, Heroes of Newerth and WoW.
But since I have a AM3 lying around, I thought it's best to upgrade it with a FX-6300.

Also, I have found a buyer who is ready to take my A8-6600K for $80. So my total investment would be around $50 for the FX-6300. So my net investment is around $50.

So my basic question was, will FX-6300 + R7 250X do better than a A8-7600 (Kaveri) + R7 250X. Please remember that I only have options to change CPUs, I don't want to upgrade anything else. So have to work with what I have.

The question arised because A8-7600 has R7 onboard. So will be give me a performance boost with Dual-Graphics enabled alongside my R7 250X Graphics Card as compared with FX-6300 + R7 250X

Asus F2A55-M LK2 Board + A8 7600

vs

Asus M5A78 M LX2 + Fx-6300

FX-6300 VS A8 7600.... The FX-6300 is better but not by much and you are very limited on Overclocking because of the 760 Chipset and bad VRM.

A Athlon X4 750K however overclocked to 4ghz and beyond which you can do on your board will be faster than both.

So your selling a A8 6600K which you could have overclocked to 4.2ghz-4.5ghz with a Evo and still have been faster than both.

0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o

A8 6600K +$80
FX-6300 -$99
........................
-$19

Or

A8 6600K +$80
Athlon II X4 750 -$45 "Yes right now there is a Athlon X4 750K on ebay for $45"
....................................
+$35

What makes more sense? The FM2 board is actually not bad, a decent O.C board That leaves the A8 7600 which I think you say you have to sell as well.

Dual Graphics.... When it works it isn't bad.. When it doesn't you get massive flickering and Micro Stutters which will drive you insane or make you invest in a large bottle of Aspirin.

No the A8 7600 is not compatible with that motherboard.

Going with a FX6300 is probably the better option, but I think I would try to sell all of the parts from both builds to build one better build. Even the 250x is a low-midrange card at best. Both of those motherboards are poor. I'm afraid to even ask about your psus.
