Amd fx 8300 max temperature

I wonder what temperature is max and safe for amd fx 8300, i played shadow of mordor and it reach to 70*c. I dont have an stock cooler.

When he reach that temperature the game have fps drops everytime...does is normal?

its not normal, its called thermal throttling

install amd overdrive

it will show you your thermal overheads

the cpu is slowing itself down to not die from overheating

you need to remove the cpu cooler, clean off the old thermal paste, and then reinstall it with new paste

It reach at 13*C while i was in game, when is idlle is on 33.0

Yea 70*c seems pretty high. Im not an expert but I also have a stock fx 8300 (~18*C in idle) which runs @ 3.3Ghz + EVO 212 heatsink and after playing Fallout4 in ultra for about an hour the max temp it got to was 41*c (core temp software results).
