AMD FX 8320 and GTX 980 ti?

Is it fine to use the GTX 980 ti with the AMD FX 8320 or will the cpu bottleneck the gpu, I have a GTX 950 in there at the moment.

Probably it will work okay depending on your PSU model and make (not so much the wattage). Better pair would be an i5 with a GTX 980 depending on what you are doing Gaming or editing.

I realised my motherboard has pci-e 2.0 x16 bandwidth will this still be ok? My power supply is 500w.

PCIe 2.0 bandwidth will not be a problem. An 8320 will bottleneck in some games though.

Recommended wattage for a 980 ti is 600W. What's the actual make/model of your PSU?

My power supply is

aerocool integrator 500w power supply 80 plus

So it's only 500w

You're 100W short of the recommended wattage, and that's a low quality PSU to boot. I would not try to run a GTX 980 Ti on it. Get something like a EVGA 650 G2.

You need to upgrade the PSU for sure. Probably a EVGA GS or G2 650W.
Do not get the NEX or G1 B1 units.

A SeaSonic 650w would also be good.

Yu can get a evga supernova 750w usually for $50 usd and its a highly rated psu and fully modular i believe.
