Hey guys ever since the day I installed my AMD cpu it has been running hot from the start. (I'm not sure if this is a problem that's why I'm asking)...
When idling in BIOS it's at 57*C and 134*F .. Some times after running my pc over an hour I'll get a warning sign pop up saying "warning CPU at 65 centigre"
I'm wondering if this is normal? I'm in the process of trying to overclock it and I don't want to do so if it will make it even hotter.
I tried taking my heatsink off cleaning off the old thermal paste with rubbing alcohol and put new paste on and CPU temp didn't change at all. I'm thinking of trying my stock heatsink but it's such a pain in the dick to put my aftermarket one on. May have to breakdown and get a $100 heatsink.
The biggest kicker here guys is I'm in southern Florida where house temperatures NEVER dip below 80* in the summer. My computer room is about 85* at all times. Normal AC always set to 78 but always hotter in computer room.
Thanks in advance,
Alex
Constantly have a big stand up fan blowing at my pc from the ground and an overhead fan always on as well
