AMD FX-8320 + GIGABYTE 970A-DS3P overclock

Hey guys i need some serious help with overclocking any helpful replies are welcome !

Cooler : Arctic Freezer 13 PRO
PSU : CoolerMaster E600
Motherboard : Gigabyte 970A-DS3P
CPU : AMD FX-8320

The AMD 970 chipset motherboards are not well suited for OC, usually the VRM isn't capable and/or resistant enough for the extra power demand.

Also, i wouldn't trust that PSU for OC. Cooler Master doesn't make good PSUs in the low end side.

Eaven a low oc from 3,5 stock to 4,0 ?

Turbo/boost - disabled
High performance mode (HPC) - enabled

Set CPU multiplier to 20.

As stated above - don't push too far on a ds3p board - 4ghz is fine though & you won't have to touch voltages.

You could try.

Either way, OC is try and error. Just watch your temps and don't play with the voltages preferably. Baby steps increases.

Well not all the 970 boards tho.. i have ud3p, and its 8+2 power phase, so its a decent overclocker.
