Hi! I have problem witch my CPU. Whatever I do, my CPU have low ratio (200MHz x7)

http://scr.hu/4n0h/97mu0 When i use OC Genie Lite I have 1500 MHz Core speed and Ratio 215MHz x7.
How can i set higher ratio? On UEFI i set x17.5 Ratio. That gives me 3500 MHz Clock Speed.
I use MSI 970A-G46

Solution
The only REAL fix is to either get a better motherboard or get a 95w cpu.

The MSI 970 GAMING, Asus M5A97 R2.0, and Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P are all good.
that motherboard isn't really advisable for a fx8 core. it's a 4+1 power phase system with poor caps and low quality vrms. About the only thing it has going for it is the robust heatsinks on those poor vrms. Even with those i wouldn't advise you to use that motherboard with an fx8 core.

As said not a good board for an 8 core CPU.

However that 7x multiplier (1400mhz) clock is standard for an 8320 at low usage - its a power saving feature - the multiplier will ramp up under load.

Don't use ocgenie & certainly don't raise the fsb to 215 - it should be kept at 200.

What I can do to have more Clock Speed? Maybe if I'd turned off the 5,6,7, and 8 core, could it improve performance?
Or can i Downgrade my Ratio to 2.5GHz ?
I need minimum 2.5GHz and I don't have money for new Mobo.

And if I rly must change Mobo for better results hwo is better/can use my CPU in 100%:
• MSI 990FXA-GD65
• MSI 970 GAMING 970
• Asus M5A97 R2.0 AMD970
• Asrock 970 Extreme4
Thanx for help.

^ fair enough mate & plainly odd.

While its not great a board ,& I would expect it to throttle at some point I wouldn't expect it to never push the clocks up in the first place.

Go to powet settings , ensure your in high performance mode.

Download this.

Its safe as its my own upload - double click the off.bat file (this disables power saving at low level) & try a prime test again.
