AMD fx 8320 (no oc) with a Gigabyte Ga-78LMT-USB3?

I need to replace my PC's motherboard and was wondering if the Gigabyte Ga-78LMT-USB3 (760g chipset) would work. It shows as compatible on the pcpartpicker website but someone told me to get 990 fx chipset board. Do I actually need a 990 fx board to support my PC or is this 760g one fine? I am rather low on money at the moment and would prefer to get a 760g board as they are much cheaper.

You don't need a 990fx board for an 8320, i would go for at least a 970 chipset board.

I would avoid that cheap 760g board, you will run into all sorts of throttling problems.
