AMD FX-8320 RAM Compatibility

Hey all,

I am looking into purchasing an AMD FX 8320, I would just like to know what the max RAM speed it can support. I am purchasing some 2133 MHz RAM and don't want to waste the money if it only supports 1600 MHz.

Below are the components I am planning on purchasing soon.

Officially it supports up to 1866MHz. In reality 2133MHz won't be a problem.

Alright, well as it turns out, I can't spend that much due to getting pulled over, so I am going with a 6300 instead, will that be able to run at least 1866 MHz RAM?

it will or it will not you cant know until you get it up and running as you want you may find it will clock over 1866 or you may find it cant make 1866 its luck of the draw buddy
