Hi i have an AMD FX 8350 And i upgraded my motherboard to a MSI 970 GAMING Motherboard i noticed that my fps in games are low incompared to my old my old mobo where i had 300 fps in csgo.
Specs:
CPU: AMD FX 8350
MOBO: MSI 970 GAMING
Graphics card: Asus gtx 960 4gb
RAM: 2X4 GB Corsair vengeance DC

I tried stress testing my cpu and i found out that the cpu did go longer that 2,08 ghz? And my cpu is 4 ghz? Can someone help me?

Solution
That's pretty weird. Sounds like your CPU may be receiving insufficient voltages and can't run at its full potential.

Try to run "CPUz" and let us know what your voltages are when reaching these 2.00 ghz.

A lot of people have had trouble running the 8 core vishera processors on am3+ motherboards, and here's what I suggest you do:

1). Pretend as though you were overclocking and disable the majority of the CPU's options, like Spread Spectrum and AMD Boost. You can see which options need to be removed by following this video up until the overclocking section (where you can stop).

2). Increase the voltage provided to the cpu gently (by 0.005 volt increments).

3). After increasing the CPU voltage by a tad...

3). After increasing the CPU voltage by a tad, run a program called Prime95 to see if the program a). crashes b). blue screens or c). fails to finish the test correctly. If any of these are the case, continue to increase the voltage and monitoring your temperatures and seeing if your computer is now stable. Make sure to not excede 70c temperatures on your CPU, or you'll have a new issue. Here is the Program
