AMD FX - 8350 8 Core 4.00 GHz to...????

Interested primarily in Single GPU 1080p gaming.

GPU: GTX 1060
Ram: 16GB
PSU: Seasonic 850w Bronze
Monitor: Westinghouse 32" LED ( Needs Upgrade Bad I Know)

My question is...

Over the next few months I want to upgrade everything in my PC aside from possibly the GPU as it still has some life left in it. With this in mind what Processor/Mobo/RAM makes the most sense for me?

Also what monitor makes the most sense for me? I've heard good things about the Asus 24" VG248QE. Would that work?

I am looking to overhaul a lot of components on my PC as it is getting older. (had it built in 2013). I am looking toward the future and want to be able to play games like Destiny 2, COD WW2, Anthem, and a sprinkle of WoW.

i7 7700k is technically the king of 1080p gaming.
But you get by pretty equally with an R5 1600/X.
Problem is even 4th gen i3s are better than your fx-8350 currently, so anything is a pretty good upgrade.
The 248qe is a pretty good monitor as well.
