I am not sure if this is normal but, I have been playing Gta V and when I am driving or running around in online i get 30-40 fps in closed areas I get 60 fps

Specs:
Crucial 8gb Ram
MotherBoard MSI 970 Gaming
AMD FX 8350 OC
XFX Rx 480 8gb

Even when I was playing Fall Out 4 then game would run at 30 to 40 fps when im running in the open world
Anyone else having this problem? Is it the Ram or what 🙁

Solution
You will always get a vast fluctuation in any game with regards to the frame rates output.
When playing a game with a more detailed or texture based screen with high detail.

And depending on the graphical draw distance

The Lod Level of Detail. of the scene will always determine this.
The more level of detail and draw distance in a game the more it will take of the processing power or the amount of stream processors the brand of graphics card you have.

The more Initial Stream processor count each Gpu has the the less likely the frame rate in frames per second output will drop.

For example if I put a RX 480 8 Gb graphics card up with 2333 Sp`s up against a Radeon Nitro fury card with 3584 SP units with the exact same graphical...

Yeah but, 8350 should not be bottle necking the Rx 480 I have researched that other people got better performance

When you buy a graphics card the rule of thumb as much as the speed the gpu works at, and also the memory and the size of it 8Gb in your case.

It is also the amount of SP in count that matter of the Gpu chip.

Solution
Then what is the point to having a Gpu where it contains a higher count of Sp or pixel pipelines?

If not to provide more Gpu processing power ?

Your also forgetting that some games favor a Gpu chip made by Nvidia for example over Amd designed Gpus.
As seen in the past.

You've obviously not read or understood the review. The FX-3850 performs virtually the same across an entire range of GPU's from both Nvidia and AMD.....from the Titan X to the GTX 960 the performance is virtually identical....same on the AMD side. If thats not a CPU bottleneck then you show me what is?

I don't care what you think you know....that review tell the facts...and the fact is his CPU will bottleneck his GPU in GTA V...end of story.
