AMD FX 8350 Current Consumption (Electric)

I am using my CPU at a lower clock speed at around 1399 MHz, There is any chance of getting less electricity bill ?

yes it will save you a lot of money, since you are running the cpu at 1399MHz.

but that clock speed seems too low. you could have bought a lower end cpu that saves a lot of money especially the apu.

The shopkeeper told me that A-Series has 4 cores e.g. AMD A10 and AMD FX have Many cores and more cores will support more future games, like asseto corsa requires at least 6 cores. That's why I bought FX 8350 in March 2013 at around $210

only for the future. games releasing now have lightly threaded workload, so you won't benefit from having more cores or more ram. However in the future games will be multi core optimised, but that'll take time.

apus are power efficient.
the 3770k (ivy bridge) is also efficient
