Hey guys, I'm waiting on the rest of my components to come in the mail for my first build and I figured I'd pass the time by asking a few questions that have been on my mind. I'll start off with my build.

Processor: AMD FX-8350
Motherboard: ASUS M5A99FX Pro R2.0
CPU Cooler: Xigmatek Dark Knight II
RAM: A-Data XPG Gaming Series 16 GB (2x8 1600mhz)
Hard Drives: Kingston HyperX 3k 120gb SSD
WD Caviar Blue 1 TB
Graphics Card: EVGA GTX 770 2GB (Superclocked ACX)
PSU: Corsair CX 600
Case: Rosewill Blackhawk
OS: Windows 8.1 64 bit

Some of that is probably not needed, but I'd rather be thorough just in case. My question is: Would I be within operating limits of that PSU to mildly overclock my processor (Something like 4.4 or 4.5 ghz)?

I don't want any damage to anything and I fear that my system is fairly power hungry as is. Any help will be appreciated.

you will be fine ......

i have 8350 with 600W PSU too im at 4.5 GHZ stable i can go further but i gotta buy better cooling system got hyper evo 212 turbo atm

so its just the temp that will be your proplem not the psu

ower Consumption (Max TDP)

Geforce GTX 680 195 Watts Max + 40
Geforce GTX 770 230 Watts max +70
Difference: 35 Watts (18%)

those are normal draw the + are the max draw so max is 300w + 125 of the 8350 thats 425 and rest for another components will be fine but that psu does not support any addition

and the brand like reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy matters for the psu ... u got good psu already its a 80 Plus Bronze Certified

i would go higher for future updates like 1000 w psu

OK, cool. Yeah, I'm not too concerned with the future, I doubt I'd ever go sli, so I figured 600w would be fine for me. I'd like to hear more opinions, but I'll take your word for it for now.
