HI my name is Ryel and i'm new to the forum. I have a AMD FX 8350 cpu with a Gigabyte ga78lmt-usb3 motherboard and 8 gb ram. Till the first week of december 2014 my desktop temperature at idle would be between (22 - 29) after that my hardisk crashed and had to be replaced. On the new hard disk that i received after setting it up etc my cpu temp idles at 50 deg with the stock cpu fan running at full force. On load it goes to 60 - 65. I dismantled the cooler cleaned it and reapplied the thermal paste on the cpu but there has been no improvement. Could someone please help me out.

It seems strange because i was getting 22 - 29 deg during summer and now when it is winter her i'm getting 50 deg.

My suggestion for you would be get a cheap and decent after market cooler.
Something like the popular Hyper 212 EVO will do the job just fine.
Its a Fx 8350. it will get hot and loud unless you get a after market cooler.

Also i heard that the sensor in the chip for heat are sometimes not correct about the temperature when its idling.

I was able to look into Deepcool Gammaxx 300 Cooler & Cool Master Hyper 212X. With my current cabinet i would not be able to fit the cool master hyper 212x. The deepcool Gammaxx 300 would be able to fit into my cabinet. As i have a gigabyte 78lmt-usb3 i want to know if it would obstruct the ram slots on the motherbaord. Also please provide inputs on how is the Deep cool gammaxx 300 for cooling the fx 8350.

Thank You in advance for you replies.
