Recently i have realised that my 8350 is running at full load at 4114 on all 8 cores which is leading to my CPU temps rising to around 50*C Degrees. I never noticed this happening before and was wondering if anyone know if this is the norm

Also for the first 10 mins or so after boot up it seems to be working fine sitting around 1400 on the core clocks and at around 15 to 20*C

If just fiddled with the power options in windows and if i swap to Power Saver it downclocks, surely i shouldn't have to have it on this option as standard. If i do this my temps drop to 20*C like normal

Have you enabled Qool N quiet in BIOS? It needs to be on if you want the cpu to down throttle.

It must be a process or a program that forces your cpu to run at full speed, it doesn't just happen by itself. Try to watch closely for a program or process that start simultaneously with the cpu speeding up.

For a minute i thought it had worked itself out but as i was typing the reply it kicked in and its now sitting at 4.1 on all cores again. I will keep checking to see if i can spot what is resulting in this

You could always run the computer in "safe mode" to see if it happens then, without any applications running.

The rundll32.exe is normally a part of windows, and shouldn't cause problems. But, malware sometimes disguises itself with the same name. So I would download Malwarebytes and run a complete scan, along with your antivirus software.
