[SOLVED] AMD FX-8350 temperature question

Hello,

I have very high temperatures on AMD FX-8350, while downclocked to 2gHz it keeps to going to about 80°C, Core about 70°C. Is that temperatures safe for that CPU?

Whatever program you are using to monitor temps is reading wrong, the processor has a max temp of 62C.
Download and use AMD Overdrive to check temps, youll be looking at a tab called thermal margin, which is how close the processor is to overheating.
You can post a screenshot here if you like.
