AMD FX 8350 wrong temperature reading don't know which software should i trust :/ halp

which software should i trust for cpu temperature ? i just installed h100i but i am not sure if the temperature is good for a h100i :/ it was a pain in the ass to install h100i on my shitty antec 302 case -_- i think i might have installed the fans incorrectly 😛

Fixed it !! by ditching my shitty antec 302 case now i have switched to Cooler Master HAF 922 😀 and these are my results. But is this temp okay ?

BIOS or Overdrive is your best bet with AMD , SOFTWARE is usually wrong.

I like HWINFO.

With the 8350 it should be 62c or UNDER.

as you can see in the picture my CPUTIN is over 75c !! is that even correct ?

Check BIOS. If it still says 75, it's overheating.

Go by the thermal margin in overdrive.that 9c margin is safe in all honesty but with a h100i even at 4.6ghz I would expect around 20c or maybe more.

^ he would have been better off then spending his budget on a better case then & a good aftermarket air cooler.

$120 on a water cooler was not a sensible purchase to get below average performance because of poor case design.

Due to negative air pressure and the pure blowing fans inside the box the best pc case for cooling is phanteks enthoo primo as you see the best case for cooling it comes with 3 large fans incoming and 2 outgoing total 5 fans

positive air pressure, the fans are in high air pressure also. The best you can do is to move your gpu away from the cpu as possible and add a fan incoming by the side.

Thermal light silver arrow gave 79 C with 1 hard disk in this pc case and 82 c with 4 hard disk in the link i gave the tempratures he is giving are good with the pc case he has.

i got h100i as a gift 😉 but when i built my pc i was total noob so yea 😛

You can use package temp in hwmonitor & corsair link - you are good for up to 70c in those readings - they coincide directly with the 9c thermal margin in overdrive.

Ignore that cputin reading - its blatantly wrong , if it were right your CPU would be throttling.

i have turned off thermal throttling in bios due to overclocking and i have noticed that CPUTIN and BIOS temp is same. I have also noticed that the h100i tubes gets so hot when i am stress testing is that normal ?

55-60 C in BIOS is way too hot. It should be around 40. Should only reach 55 C when you are stresstesting.

forget the other programs the ony realable program for amd cpu's is amd overdrive that gives the termal margine. Thermal Margin indicates how far the current operating temperature is below the maximum operating temperature of the processor and for you it gives 9 c you will see it rising if you stop the test. As you can see in the links i gave you people with much better cooler than yours gave much worst tempratures with the same pc case witch is NOT normal!? In this case you can't add more fans only 1 by the side and move the gpu as far as possible from the cpu as you can something more you can't do.
