Looks like it depends on the revision. revision 3.0 and 3.1 of that board does support the 9590. But the earlier revisions don't. What revision of the board do you have?

If you haven't bought the CPU already then dont, there just awful
Speak for yourself and your poor grammar, the 9590 is great, i get 20c temps idle stock cooler, and its crazy fast. Its an amazing cpu for the price
For gaming its just not good for the price. For what the cpu plus the cooler costs($260 if you buy the kit) you could get an i5 4460 and a motherboard that will beat it in games. If a motherboard is also required then its an even worse price/performance option as the cost of the motherboard means you can get an i7 or a Xeon that will beat the FX in everything.
Yes.
The latest revisions of the 990FXA-UD5s are bad mama-jamas.
Still, you are better off with an AMD FX-8370E ... baked last Summer and generally will run up to (and beyond) -9590 levels on the -UD5 without breaking a sweat.
The FX-8370Es are not new steppings but do feature minor core revisions which tend to boost memory performance under certain conditions.
