AMD FX 9590 reporting sub-ambient temps...help?

Can not understand why my temps are below sub-ambient, its a FX chip. O.H.W monitor, SpeedFan, Corsair Link, all showing same temps readings 8.5-10.0 c. UEFI bios shows 32.0 at idle. I have under clocked to 200.0 bus. and 1.356 on voltage. Please HALP!

Thats because not a single one of those applications can accurately report FX series temps.
Download AMD overdrive, check your thermal margin under load.

Post a picture of that.

So the way thermal margin works is the difference from your current temp, to max temp.
So in this case, at idle you are 62C from max temp, and under load you are 30C from max temp.

Basically, your temps are fantastic, but its only running at 4GHz, which would explain the low temps.

It's dumb how overdrive uses margins instead of temps. Thanks for the help, lost cause now. Chip died. Oh well Ryzen will be here shortly. Thanks again Gam3r01.

OD's thermal margin are actually quite useful to measure AMD temps accurately, but the question is now (for curiosity) what caused the chip to die? That was, sudden, given the temps. Though, im assuming your voltages have something to do with it. Anything over 1.525 is "too high"

Not quite sure, hard crashed in middle of gaming. Tried reboot. Nothing 10 q code. Removed memory stick, retried. Same code. ROG bios flash, same thing. So my assumption chips dead. I am better off selling my motherboard anyway. Very outdated yet still holds its value. (Crosshair v Formula Z)

Yeah, I would normally recommend looking into a fix, but I think its a good idea to move to a modern platform that dosent produce the same heat as a nuclear reactor.
