Im building a gaming pc
Should I go with the amd fx 8350
Or the fx 6350
I dont mind it paying the extra 70 if the pc will run faster in other stuff and if im going to use the extra cores in gaming later?

Get the FX-8320 and a nice cooler and overclock it.

You most likely will not see much of a difference between the two in real world performance, I shot for the middle and got an 8320

You're better off with the 6300

what about bf4? games running on 8 cores will be very soon, and bf4 already runs on 8 cores if i'm not mistaken.

the 8320 is a good choice if you can get it for the right price but you will need a better heatsink from the start

BF4 runs on 8 cores, the OS does benefit from all cores and i'm pretty sure Crysis 3 runs on 8 cores.
