Hello everyone, I built my AMD gaming rig last 2 weeks ago, and it playing games fine but when I run Aida64 test, my system either crash or Aida64 test stop automatically with this red message "Warning:Hardware Failure detected! Test Stopped."

Aida64 w/ cpu, fpu, mem, and cache checked either crash my system or stopped automatically within an hour.

I then ran memtest86 on my RAM sticks with XMP on to test if I have any defective ram sticks and apparently I don't. All 4 pass result came out zero error code. I also reinstall Windows to rule out corrupted Windows or drivers and result is the same.

I ran Prime95 latest version blend mode for an hour now and no crash. Playing Battlefield 5 and 1 for an hour no crash. Handbrake encoding for more than 1 hour no crash. 3DMark Timespy benchmark twice no crash.

I have 4 ram sticks installed in slot 1,2,3,4. If I take out the ram stick in slot 1 and 3 then test 2 and 4, I will crash with xmp on

Is this defective motherboard or cpu?

as dumb as this may sound it may be because it's mixed ram from what I'm seeing the sticks you have are 2x8gb for a total of 16gb in turn means you have two kit's of the same ram however mixed with a second set. They should have same timings being a kit of identical sticks however i have had where two of the same kits at the same speeds had different frequency's. This means that they may be the same speeds however at different clock ratio's. if you can i would return the kit's and order one kit x4-8gb at the same frequency's or go into your bios and set the clock speeds manually to be the same for all of them this may correct the issue my brother had to do this when he had this problem. i riht away after finding this out returned my two kits and ordered one kit of 4

yeah after reading the description of the ram you ordered it doesn't look they have a physical base frequency they just have tested frequency's, another words they did a test at specific speed settings they set to and had no problems at that frequency "this is what they set it to for there testing "16-18-18-36; Voltage: 1.35V"

I have two 2x8GB kits here which total out 4x8GB DDR4 3200MHz
https://www.amazon.com/Patriot-Vipe...t+ddr4+16gb+ram+3200mhz&qid=1571098070&sr=8-3

I even tried one kit 2x8GB and the system still crash in XMP on Aida64, but in Prime95 latest version on blend test no crash at all for 3 hours now.

I don't understand and need help.

again they maybe running off of diffrent frequenct's the only thing i can suggest is to set them manually in the bios "what they are tested at" and sold at can be two different things setting them manually to "16-18-18-36; Voltage: 1.35V" may correct you problem

It could be that the test they did was "16-18-18-36; Voltage: 1.35v" and when there sold there xx-xx-xx-xx at x.xxv just because the test they do is at "16-18-18-36; Voltage: 1.35v" and is stable doesn't mean there sold at 16-18-18-36; Voltage: 1.35v they can be sold at 30-30-30-30 and 5.6v the tested stable value doesn't mean there sold at stable values they could have different values then there stable at for the same frequency

I already swapped out my mobo with a brand new X470F and get the QVL ram listed on my mobo for 3rd gen ryzen. The ram is Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 3200mhz CL16
https://www.amazon.com/CORSAIR-Vengeance-3200MHz-Desktop-Memory/dp/B07D1XJH2W/ref=sr_1_4?crid=3Q93TOUJXDL3W&keywords=corsair+ddr4+3200&qid=1571495390&sprefix=corsair+ddr4+32,aps,200&sr=8-4&th=1

System crash on Aida64 either ram xmp is on and off.

Try different software like HW monitor and others.
Maybe AIDA64 software is not comunicating properly with your hardware.

Had a million degrees in Everest on old ix38 mb, and only coretemp would show something plausible. Also speedfan was showing a gazzillion rpm's even on unconnected fans, and others would show fine.

Maybe, try a different build version for AIDA 64 or a different program to test.

I haven't tried different Aida64 build yet but I did try Prime95, occt, asus realbench, and memtest86 and all came out good. I am paranoid rn because my rig is not stable in Aida64.
