Hi,

My son built a Gaming Rig based on AMD platform just few days back.

Configuration:

CASE Circle CC 830 Professional Gaming Cabinet (without SMPS) Black
CPU AMD FX 6-Core Black Edition FX-6300 3.5GHz Processor
GPU Gigabyte AMD R9 380 256 Bit GDDR5 4GB 2xDVI/HDMI/DP G1 Gaming Graphics Card GV-R938G1 GAMING-4GD
RAM(memory) G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 2x8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model
MOTHERBOARD MSI 970 Gaming Motherboard
POWERSUPPLY Cooler Master 600W
HARD DRIVE Seagate Barracuda 1TB Desktop SATA Internal Hard Drive
SSD Kingston UV300 240GB 2.5-inch Solid State Drive

We have installed Windows 10 (64 Bit) and using a Panasonic 42" Full HD Plasma TV (100Hz) for display.

Games installed are: CS-GO, Team Fortress 2, Crysis, Project Cars etc.

FPS for all above has been restricted to 60 FPS through Graphic Card App and the Games are also set for Medium Graphics levels.

Somehow, the PC keeps crashing after few minutes of game play to one of these status:

    Blue Screen: Windows Error
Just Freeze (no Ctrl+Alt+Del possible) and Audio freeze too.
Audio ON, Game keys work but Black Screen (no display)

What could be the reasons?
Is it Windows 10, not be suitable for Gaming? Would moving down to Windows 7 help?
Does AMD require any specific fine-tuning or BIOS settings?

It may be noted that Cooling Fans are working well. Temperatures (CPU, GPU) are below 70C.

Really frustrating for me and more for my Son. Please HELP!

Solution
If there is no error listed, probably just that cheap ass power supply you have. Replace it with a Seasonic S12II 520W if you can't afford a better 550W+ unit (like Seasonic G 550, XFX TS Gold 550, EVGA G2 550, Corsair RM550x)
