As the title says does it really matter if you use an AMD card on an intel mobo and cpu and vice versa? Is it fine to do that and does it affect performance in any way? Thanks.
Intel and Nvidia have no affiliation.
AMD graphics card can be used with Intel CPU with no impact. Actually works better in some cases.
Way back when ATI was just bought by AMD there was a problem with AMD CPU chipsets(made by Nvidia) being a problem with ATI/AMD graphics cards. This is not the case anymore.

the cpu cannot be switched but the graphics card can, but intel doesn't make graphics cards.
