AMD graphics card

Hi guys! So I decided for my first gaming build to buy the AMD A10 6800k cpu which on newegg right now is $130, which motherboard would you recommend and would a R9 290x work with this cpu? I will be using my build for gaming and school work. Thanks for reading.

Don't build that. The APU is pointless if your getting a discreet graphics card. If you want amd CPU for the same price get the 8320. As for mobo any am3+ socket that has the features and price that's right for you

why don't I need the apu and a graphics card? From what I read it works really well.
