Does mantle work with the amd hd 4200 integrated graphics or is it only for dedicated graphics?

No, It does not have the GCN architecture that is required to run Mantle. You will need a 7xxx series card to run Mantle.

There is no AMD HD 4200 'Integraed graphics'.
If you mean Intel HD 4200, then no it doesnt work with mantle.
If you mean Radeon HD 4200, it also doesn't work with mantle
