Please I need your help , I have to build my new computer and I have to decide which solution best fits my needs .
I'm not a gamer, I play games rarely (only blizzard game) , but I need a solution that allows me a good multitasking tp do more things simultaneously , such as three Adobe programs open at once, and many internet pages with youtube videos , in my free time I also do some small video encoding for personal purposes.
My doubt is whether to bet on intel or amd platform
I thought of these two alternatives

AMD I5-6600K or AMD FX-8370

What do you recommend ?

Solution
If you prefer your original options I would go with something like this. The Xeon build will be better for multitasking and it's a little cheaper since you wouldn't be using an overclocking motherboard or requiring an aftermarket cooler.

Either way I would avoid the FX CPUs.

A lot of people told me that amd is much better in multitasking, and a lot of people told me that is insignificant better.
amd let me save about 120-130 €, i know that is a pretty old technology but it shooul fit better my purposes

Which 3 Adobe programs? Because, franklin, if you're planning on having 3 windows of Adobe Reader open & multiple Youtube tabs in a browser, then a Pentium or A-series build sans a discrete GPU will be more than sufficient.

If you're talking about other Adobe brand programs, then that will have a difference on our recommendations.

Also, is the 340-350 euro budget just for the CPU & motherboard, or is that for the entire build?

No it's just for mobo and cpu, i usually use illustrator, photoshop and indesign at the same time while i have a lot of firefox tap opened (youtube tutorial).
I do some small video rendering or video compression (blender, h264/5), i use winrar to compress/decompress huge file and a lot copy from/to my nas..
The problem is that (often) i do these things simultaneously 🙂 or at least I try.............

The Xeon is the right choice if the OP has a dedicated graphics card. That thing is built for multitasking. The only downside is that it's an i7 without the integrated graphics so if you don't have a graphics card it would be useless. Then again, so would the FX 8370 so the OP must have a GPU.

If you don't have a GPU you need to go with an i5 or i7 so you can use integrated graphics.

GPU isn't a problem. I have an old gpu to use meantime, I assemble the computer over month so i can delay not urgent expense.
The main components i have do decide for are cpu and mobo

I would go with something like this. This is in U.S. prices so don't pay too much attention to the cost. This is just to show you a possible hardware option. You can easily swap in a different H97 or Z97 motherboard if you see a better deal or just like something else better.

CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($239.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: ASRock H97 Anniversary ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($69.88 @ OutletPC)
Total: $309.87

The skylake 6600k would be my recommendation. No it doesnt have hyperthreading but its individual core performance is extremely fast and would (imo) put it in the same range as the listed xeon. Plus should your gpu ever die the 6600k has one built into it.

The Xeon is 3.4GHz while the i5-6600k is 3.5GHz. I realize that there is a small gain from Skylake in addition to the barely faster clock speed but unless the 6600k is overclocked the individual core performance will be very similar between the two CPUs.

With hyperthreading I think the Xeon would be better for his professional work unless he went with a pretty aggressive overclock on the 6600k.

I think I will purchase the i5... About motherboard i was oriented with USB 3.1 and m.2 ... what do you think of this GIGABYTE GA-Z170X-UD3?
Can it support an not heavy oc?
