These are probably like already sold out lol.

Why does it say pax east was 21-24 but this was published 25th?

"AIB partner cards are selling for $570-$600 at the cheapest level, which is only a $91-$121 price hike over MSRP. "

"Only" 15-20% over MSRP.
"RX 6900 XT's are averaging $1100 -- just $100 over MSRP"

That's not that bad. AIB's often come with better cooling, overclocked and potentially better bin selection.

Though the article has inaccurate information. You can pick up a sapphire 6900xt right now for $1040. Or a gigabyte for $1150 with a $150 rebate (so comes to $1000). Though anyone spending 1k on an AMD card is an absolute fool considering its Ray tracing performance..

Honestly, rn if there's still even half the pricing and/or availability gulf that there was a year ago then I'd still choose AMD over Nvidia every time for my needs, RT and it's niche uplift be damned.
Was better (wanting 3440x1440 60+fps ultra AAA perf to last a few years) to pay £1200 for a 6800XT that I could have within the week against £2000+ for an equivalent level 3080 that I'd be in a wait list for, stock ETA TBC but likely 2+ months (even 3070's cost more than a 6800XT and as much as a 6900XT at the time) Even with RT and it's maybe two games supported per year that I might look twice at. I'd still take the AMD if that difference was cut by even 90% rn.

There's 3080 ti's in stock at msrp (1200$) right now at least in the U.S. and 12gb 3080's at 1k mark for a while now. Either are better options imo.
