AMD Launches Ryzen 5 2500X And Ryzen 3 2300X In OEM Systems Only

This is just annoying to me, I had planned on building a couple of 2300X machines. No more. I don't know why AMD would shoot themselves in the foot with lack of availability like this.
 
Most likely because They can not buy enough production capasity from tcmc now because Also Intel is using their production lines... see the production capasity shortage news above!
So there is so much competition to get production time and capasity at this moment, there is shortage of production capasity. And so They can not sell as much of those new chips as there Are demand...
 

Amd are contracted to use GloFo 14/12nm. Since GloFo 7nm got cancelled. AMD's current relationship with TSMC is solely producing console
APU's. Previous agreement's been amended to allow 7nm production @ TSMC https://www.anandtech.com/show/13279/amd-to-fab-7nm-cpus-gpus-at-tsmc
