I am not sure whether at the moment this card is supported. I have seen benchmarks of an R9 280X and AMD Mantle, which makes me confused. Is it or is it not supported right now. It will of course be supported in the future, but I want to know if it is in the beta.
Thanks in advance :)

Solution
Can´t understand why the answer above is the "best". Really, he´s not telling us more than the standard information stated in AMD site. Anyway, I´ll try my contribution saying that AMD reconned R9280X would see it´s Mantle performance a bit underated (with no identified reason) and they we´re working on it:

"These products will see limited gains in BattleField 4™ and AMD is currently investigating optimizations for them."

"AMD testing for the AMD Catalyst™ 14.1 Beta Mantle driver has been concentrated on the following products: AMD Radeon™ R9 290X, R9 290, R9 280, R9 270, R7 260X, R7 260, HD 7000 Series, HD 8000 Series"

And for multi GPU (Xfire/SLI):

"Intermittent stuttering or stability issues may occur when utilizing Mantle with...
Any GCN architecture graphics card will support Mantle, so that means any HD7000 or R7-9 series graphics card.

Mantle has had a couple of delays, but apparently it will be out very soon. The first delay was that DICE was so busy fixing BF4 they couldnt work on adapting it for Mantle, then AMD a few days ago found a massive bug as they were about to release it, and so delayed it. Far as I know the driver update with support for Mantle is in the next day or two.

I have Crossfire 7970 setup (R9280X) and what Mantle API did was a massive FPS DROP, from 60/120 to 30/45 FPS, so back to DX11 for now. That is happening to a lot of people, as you can verify in Battlelog forum.

Solution
Roger that... actually in the same sentence the original poster asks if 280X is supported but at the same time refers to benchmarks. You did answer to the "supported" question I think I answer the "lack of performance" of the Mantle on 280X :)

Apologies for any misunderstanding :)
