What would be a good mobo for an amd phenom II x2 that has unlocking? Looking at different ones but haven't found a wide selection any ideas would be helpful. Thank you!

It will be for single video card want it to be upgradeable.
Budget is under $150 can be a little leniant but not too much.

I would get the Asus board above since it's within your budget, allows core unlocking, uses the latest chipset, and offers SATA 6Gb/s and USB 3.0.

Keep in mind, though, that core unlocking will not work for all chips. If you need more than a dual-core chip, you should buy either a triple-core or quad-core chip.

Asus Crosshair...II or III.

Not sure when IV is out.

I have Asus Crosshair II Formula with AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 965 BE.

If you do choose same as mine you WILL need to update BIOS to 2402.

Not sure about III :)

Ah sorry, i forget to look at the $ when i am on here, i just saw the 150 and assumed £'s 😛

Crosshair II is fairly old now and can probably get it fairly cheap, especially when the IV comes out.

That is the 4PIN power connector. It is separate from the 24PIN power connector which is at the top middle. The PSU will come with connectors that that will fit only to those 4PIN and 24PIN sockets.
Some PSU will also have 8PIN connectors for motherboards that are designed for overclocking to supply more power to the board. In case of the ASUS, it will not connect to anything. You just need the 4PIN and the 24PIN connectors.
