Typo in rumored specs (3 CU instead of 4 CU).

I think at least the 8300G will end up being OEM-only. I'm wondering what maximum I would pay for that (refurbished/clearance prebuilt).

I'm curious if the APUs will support really high speed memory with a 2:1 ratio and whether or not it's advantageous. Obviously this isn't a setup which makes any sense given the cost, but academically speaking I think it'd be really interesting to find out.

Asus has launched a series of new beta BIOS updates, featuring support for AGESA update 1.1.0.1. The new AGESA update is expected to feature support for AMD's upcoming Ryzen 8000G APUs.

Undoubtedly, this will result in several hundreds of returned mainboards, as folks buy these 8700G cpus and a mainboard that will not post. (A few lucky folks might get boards that require no CPU for BIOS updates...)
