Hi all, I'm wondering if you guys could help me out. I have decided to build a relatively inexpensive AMD gaming/multi purpose system based around the AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE. The thing is I'm struggling to decide on a suitable motherboard - there seem to be so many! I'm looking to spend in the region of £70 - any ideas?

Thanks a lot

Dan

If you are building an AMD system right now then make sure your motherboard is AM3+ capable so you have an chance to upgrade the processor to the newer Bulldozer processors that are being released later this year .

Ideally get a motherboard with a 970 or 990 series chipset if its in your budget . If not then there are AM3+ 870 and 880 series chipset boards
