Planning to build a new pc but I have some technical questions before advance with final items.

1. The MoBo I'm planning to use says it supports 2933/2667/2400/2133 MHZ memory ram and 3200+ (OC). I'm looking at one DDR4 RAM stick with 8Gb and 3000Mhz. It will work?

2. I'm also looking at a cooler (Arctic Freezer 33 TR) which in height is 155mm/15,5cm/6,10" and the case I want (Aerocool Cylon) is also 155mm/15,5cm/6,10" it will fit?

Hey!

About RAM I was planning to use 8GB now and next month or so buy another 8GB, meaning my objective is to have 16GB.

So I should only upgrade cooler if I change CPU? My budget allows this setup but I want in the future to update to a Ryzen 7.

Great!
I really like this case Aerocool Cylon or Nox Hummer MC or something similar
Portugal and max budget I will say 800€ for now

Trying to have it by the end of the month since my laptop is giving me some troubles hence the tight budget and tricky build 😛

Ryzen is picky about ram.
Not all DDR4 ram will be supported.
Buy a kit from the motherboard QVL list.
Or, access a ram vendor selection app.
Enter your motherboard and you will get a list of supported ram kits.

Buy your 16 gb kit up front.
2 x 8gb. speed is important to ryzen so pay a bit more for faster ram.
Ram is sold in kits for a reason.
A motherboard must manage all the ram using the same specs of voltage, cas and speed.
The internal workings are designed for the capacity of the kit.
Ram from the same vendor and part number can be made up of differing manufacturing components over time.
Some motherboards, can be very sensitive to this.
This is more difficult when more sticks are involved.
That is why ram vendors will NOT support ram that is not bought in one kit.

If you do buy more disparate sticks, they must be the same speed, voltage and cas numbers.
Even then your chances of working are less than 100%

What is your plan "B" if the new stick/s do not work?

As to the rest of your build:

Use the supplied cooler if you wish; it will work ok.
The cryorig H7 is 145mm tall and is an excellent alternative.

I really like the Seasonic focus gold. A top quality unit that can support up to a GTX1080 in the future.
I have no problem overprovisioning a PSU a bit. Say 20% to the 650w unit.
It will allow for a stronger future graphics card upgrade.
It will run cooler, quieter, and more efficiently in the middle third of it's range.
A PSU will only use the wattage demanded of it, regardless of it's max capability.

I will never again build without a ssd for the "C" drive. It makes everything you do much quicker.
120gb is minimum, it will hold the os and a handful of games.
But, many things default to the "C" drive.
When a SSD nears full, it will lose performance and endurance.
240gb is the recommended minimum.

If you can go 240gb, or 500gb you may never need a hard drive.

You can defer on the hard drive unless you need to store large files such as video's.
It is easy to add a hard drive later.

Samsung EVO is a good choice for performance and reliability.

On the HDD, wd or hitachi are considered more reliable.

Now you scared me about the RAM lol, I don't have any plan B...
With the budget defined I need to manage what I should get 2x4GB or 2x8GB

Oh, I didn't include and SSD because I already have one, forgot to mention that (Crucial SSD 250GB)

Thank you for you suggestions! Most of the components I will buy at my local store
Unfortunately they don't have that case and I don't want to spend too much on it.

From this list which one is the least bad?_https://bit.ly/2DgTamH
