Hello dudes / dudettes. I'm having issues with my computer, i recently got a new graphics card, the one before it (Nvidia) detected my 120hz refresh rate with no issues at all. This one however isn't detecting it no matter what.
Things i've tried;
Google!
Changing the slot my dual DVI cable is plugged into.
Going into CCC and that shows max refresh rate at 75hz and when i select that it makes my resolution lower.
Using the Display port.
Installing the newest drivers / beta drivers.
Tried changing it in desktop resolution settings and that only detects 60hz.
I can only assume it's a problem with AMD because it worked just fine with Nvidia. Maybe this particular monitor isn't compatible with AMD? It does state on the back of it Nvidia 3D vision ready.
Monitor is Alienware aw2310, GPU is Asus Ares 2.
Anyone have any ideas? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
