AMD &Nvidia card for 3 monitors

I am wanting to install both a radeon 4890 and GTS 450 at the same time to use 3 monitors (not for gaming), i have heard it is possible but is there anything i need to be aware of before i try this? thanks guys!

i have 2 cards already, and don't have much money. i am looking to add the card and have the third screen without paying anything
